Selecting a preschool
Saturday, April 12th, 2008Today, almost every child in an urban or semi urban area goes to a preschool. Some parents see it as an alternative to daycare, others consider it a place where their child will interact with other children of their age. It is widely considered as the first step in education.
Most children who are about 2 years old are enrolled in preschools. Most kindergarten ask for information about the preschool. Unlike conventional schooling, preschool children learn more by observing, playing , touching and interacting with other children. So children should have a nurturing environment. The child should express himself or herself freely and their creativity should not be suppressed.
The playschool should be secure for children and designed so that children can play safely. The staff should be well trained to facilitate the development of the child.
